Meerut Toll Plaza commonly refers to Siwaya Toll Plaza on the Meerut–Muzaffarnagar section of NH 334 in Meerut district, Uttar Pradesh. Older highway and toll records show the road as NH 58. The plaza is near Siwaya-Jamalullapur and Modipuram and serves vehicles travelling between Meerut, Muzaffarnagar, Roorkee, Haridwar and destinations farther north.
Siwaya is located at Km 75.990 and carries FASTag plaza code 216001. This code is the clearest identifier when checking a deduction because Meerut district also has other toll points, including Delhi–Meerut Expressway plazas and Bhuni Toll Plaza on the Meerut–Karnal route.

Meerut Toll Plaza Rates
Current public toll listings in August 2026 continue to display the following Siwaya rates. Unlike many newer National Highway plazas, Siwaya does not publish a discounted return-journey tariff or a standard monthly pass under its concession arrangement.
| Vehicle category | Single journey | Return journey | Monthly pass | Local commercial rate |
| Car, jeep or van | ₹110 | Not available | Not available | ₹55 |
| Light commercial vehicle | ₹195 | Not available | Not available | ₹95 |
| Bus or two-axle truck | ₹395 | Not available | Not available | ₹195 |
| Vehicle with up to three axles | ₹635 | Not available | Not available | ₹315 |
| Four-to-six-axle vehicle | ₹635 | Not available | Not available | ₹315 |
| Heavy construction or earth-moving equipment | ₹635 | Not available | Not available | ₹315 |
| Vehicle with seven or more axles | ₹635 | Not available | Not available | ₹315 |
A car, jeep or van currently pays ₹110 for one crossing through Siwaya Toll Plaza.
Why Siwaya Has No Return-Journey Discount
This is an important difference at Meerut’s Siwaya plaza. In a Central Information Commission case decided on June 22, 2026, NHAI stated that the Siwaya concession agreement does not provide a return-journey concession. The plaza was originally governed under the older NH Fee Rules, 1997.
Therefore, a car can be charged ₹110 on the outward crossing and another ₹110 when it returns, even on the same day. Two ₹110 deductions are not automatically a duplicate charge if the vehicle genuinely crossed Siwaya twice.
Local Resident Monthly Pass
For FY 2026–27, the listed local monthly pass is ₹350 for an eligible privately owned, non-commercial vehicle belonging to a person residing within 20 kilometres of the toll plaza.
Applicants may be required to provide:
- Vehicle registration certificate
- Aadhaar card or another identity document
- Current residential-address proof
- Active FASTag linked to the vehicle
- Registered mobile number
- Completed local-pass application
The toll administration must verify the residence and vehicle. A Meerut registration number alone does not automatically qualify the owner for the concession.

Directions to Meerut Toll Plaza
1. From Meerut City
Travel north towards Modipuram on Roorkee Road/NH 334. Continue through the Pallavpuram–Modipuram side towards Daurala and Muzaffarnagar. Siwaya Toll Plaza is reached shortly after the Meerut urban area.
2. From Delhi
Use the Delhi–Meerut Expressway or another suitable route to Meerut, then join NH 334 towards Modipuram, Muzaffarnagar and Haridwar.
Delhi–Meerut Expressway tolling is separate from Siwaya Toll Plaza.
3. From Muzaffarnagar
Travel south on NH 334 towards Meerut. Continue through the Khatauli–Daurala side and follow the toll-plaza signs approaching Siwaya.
4. From Roorkee or Haridwar
Travel towards Muzaffarnagar and Meerut using NH 334. A longer journey can cross Chhapar Toll Plaza before Siwaya, so more than one valid FASTag deduction may appear.
Siwaya, Delhi–Meerut Expressway and Bhuni Are Different
Meerut district has several toll facilities, and their names are sometimes mixed up online.
Siwaya Toll Plaza is on NH 334 between Meerut and Muzaffarnagar. Delhi–Meerut Expressway uses separate distance-based toll points such as Kashi and Partapur. Bhuni Toll Plaza is on the Meerut–Karnal section of NH 709A.
A journey using more than one of these corridors can therefore create separate valid deductions. Compare the plaza name, code, amount and transaction time before reporting a duplicate charge.
FASTag and Payment Information
FASTag is the standard payment method at Siwaya. Before travelling, make sure the tag:
- Is active and has sufficient balance
- Is correctly fixed to the windscreen
- Is linked to the correct registration number
- Shows the correct vehicle category
- Has completed the required verification
- Is not damaged or blacklisted
For a wrong or duplicate deduction, keep the transaction SMS or bank record and raise the issue through the FASTag-issuing bank, RajmargYatra or National Highway helpline 1033.
FASTag Annual Pass
The NHAI FASTag Annual Pass costs ₹3,075 for FY 2026–27.
It is available for eligible non-commercial cars, jeeps and vans with a valid FASTag and remains valid for one year or 200 eligible crossings, whichever comes first.
Siwaya appears in published Annual Pass eligible-plaza lists. Activation is completed on the vehicle’s existing FASTag through RajmargYatra or the NHAI system. Confirm successful activation before relying on the pass.

Traffic and Safety Tips
Siwaya can become busy during morning and evening commuting, weekends, public holidays and pilgrimage or tourist travel towards Haridwar and Uttarakhand. Heavy truck and intercity bus movement can also create queues.
Choose the correct lane early, maintain a safe distance behind heavy vehicles and avoid sudden lane changes near the booths. During fog or monsoon rain, reduce speed gradually.
For a breakdown, crash or medical emergency, move to a safe location where possible and call 1033.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is Meerut Toll Plaza the same as Siwaya Toll Plaza?
A: In normal Meerut–Muzaffarnagar road usage, yes. “Meerut Toll Plaza” commonly refers to Siwaya Toll Plaza near Modipuram on NH 334. Its FASTag plaza code is 216001.
Q: How much does a car pay at Siwaya Toll Plaza?
A: Current public listings show ₹110 for one crossing by a car, jeep or van.
Q: Why was ₹110 deducted again when I returned the same day?
A: Siwaya does not have the normal return-journey discount used at many newer plazas. NHAI confirmed in a June 2026 CIC case that the concession agreement has no return-journey provision, so two genuine crossings can each be charged ₹110.
Q: Is Siwaya on NH 58 or NH 334?
A: NH 334 is the current highway number. Older toll and road records continue to show NH 58 for the same Meerut–Muzaffarnagar corridor.
Q: Will a Meerut-to-Haridwar journey cross more than one toll plaza?
A: Yes. A trip on NH 334 can cross Siwaya and, depending on the route and destination, Chhapar or other separately tolled sections. Each deduction should be checked by plaza name and code.
Q: How much is the local resident monthly pass?
A: The listed FY 2026–27 charge is ₹350 for an eligible privately owned, non-commercial vehicle whose owner resides within 20 kilometres of the plaza.
