Mahuvan Toll Plaza, Mathura: Rates, Address, Location, Direction

Mahuvan Toll Plaza is an important toll collection point on National Highway 19 in Mathura district, Uttar Pradesh. It serves vehicles travelling between Delhi, Faridabad, Palwal, Kosi Kalan, Mathura, Farah and Agra through the traditional Delhi–Agra highway.

The plaza is situated near Mahuvan village and Farah, south of Mathura city. It should not be confused with toll points on the Yamuna Expressway, which follows a separate route between Greater Noida and Agra.

Older road signs, toll records and addresses may identify the highway as NH 2. Following the renumbering of National Highways, the Delhi–Mathura–Agra road is now part of NH 19.

Mahuvan Toll Plaza Rates

The following toll charges are applicable from April 1, 2026, to March 31, 2027.

Vehicle category Single journey Return journey Monthly pass
Car, jeep or van ₹105 ₹160 ₹3,580
Light commercial vehicle or minibus ₹175 ₹260 ₹5,785
Bus or two-axle truck ₹365 ₹545 ₹12,125
Commercial vehicle with up to three axles ₹570 ₹855 ₹19,010
Four-to-six-axle vehicle ₹570 ₹855 ₹19,010
Heavy construction or earth-moving equipment ₹570 ₹855 ₹19,010
Vehicle with seven or more axles ₹695 ₹1,040 ₹23,145

A car, jeep or van pays ₹105 for one crossing. An eligible outward and return journey costs ₹160 when both crossings are completed within the permitted 24-hour period.

The standard ₹3,580 monthly pass is intended for frequent car users. It is different from the concessional pass available to qualifying residents living close to the toll plaza.

Single and Return-Journey Charges Explained

The ₹105 car rate applies to one crossing through Mahuvan Toll Plaza.

The ₹160 return rate covers one outward crossing and one eligible return crossing through the same plaza. It does not mean that ₹160 is charged separately in each direction.

The FASTag deduction may appear as:

  • First crossing: ₹105
  • Return crossing within 24 hours: ₹55
  • Total charge for both crossings: ₹160

The same active FASTag should be used for both journeys.

When a vehicle returns after the permitted 24-hour period, the second passage may be treated as another single journey and charged ₹105.

Drivers should retain both transaction messages until the return journey has been completed.

Local Resident Monthly Pass

A person living within 20 kilometres of Mahuvan Toll Plaza may apply for a concessional monthly pass for a privately owned, non-commercial car, jeep or van.

The local monthly-pass charge for the 2026–27 financial year is:

₹360 per month

Applicants may be required to submit:

  • Vehicle registration certificate
  • Aadhaar card or another identity document
  • Current residential-address proof
  • Active FASTag linked to the vehicle
  • Registered mobile number
  • Recent photograph
  • Completed local-pass application

The toll administration must verify that the residence is within the prescribed 20-kilometre distance.

The concession is linked to a particular resident, vehicle and FASTag. Owning a vehicle registered in Mathura district does not automatically activate the pass.

Local Commercial Vehicle Concession

The current Mahuvan tariff does not publish a separate reduced rate for commercial vehicles registered within Mathura district.

Owners of taxis, buses, minibuses and goods vehicles should not assume that a UP-85 registration number will automatically produce a discounted toll deduction.

Any special concession would depend on:

  • Vehicle registration category
  • Valid commercial permit
  • Registered residential or business address
  • Regular operating route
  • FASTag details
  • Terms of the toll agreement
  • Approval from the toll administration

Commercial operators should contact the toll control room before applying or relying on a reduced rate.

Mahuvan and Karman Toll Plazas Are Different

Mahuvan Toll Plaza and Karman Toll Plaza are separate toll facilities on the Delhi–Agra highway corridor.

Karman Toll Plaza is located farther north near Hodal and the Haryana–Uttar Pradesh route. Mahuvan is situated farther south near Farah in Mathura district.

A vehicle travelling between Delhi and Agra through NH 19 may receive separate deductions at both plazas.

These deductions are not automatically duplicates because the plazas cover different highway portions.

Drivers should compare:

  • Exact toll-plaza name
  • Plaza code
  • Transaction date and time
  • Amount deducted
  • Direction of travel

Mahuvan Toll Plaza’s FASTag code is 62002.

Mahuvan Toll Plaza and Yamuna Expressway Are Different

Mahuvan is located on NH 19, the traditional Delhi–Mathura–Agra highway.

The Yamuna Expressway is an access-controlled road connecting Greater Noida with Agra. It uses entry and exit toll points, including facilities near Jewar, Mathura and Agra.

A navigation application may offer either route:

  • NH 19 through Palwal, Kosi Kalan, Mathura and Mahuvan
  • Yamuna Expressway through Greater Noida and Jewar

A toll payment on the Yamuna Expressway does not cover Mahuvan, and a Mahuvan payment does not cover the expressway.

FASTag and Payment Information

FASTag is the standard payment method at Mahuvan Toll Plaza.

Before travelling, drivers should ensure that the FASTag:

  • Is active and has sufficient balance
  • Is properly fixed to the windscreen
  • Is linked to the correct vehicle registration number
  • Shows the correct vehicle category
  • Has completed the required verification
  • Is not damaged, suspended or blacklisted

Maintain sufficient distance from the vehicle ahead while entering the toll lane. Driving too close can prevent the scanner from correctly identifying each FASTag.

The transaction message may display Mahuvan, DA Toll Road or plaza code 62002.

An incorrect deduction can be reported through the FASTag-issuing bank, RajmargYatra or National Highway helpline 1033.

FASTag Annual Pass

The NHAI FASTag Annual Pass costs ₹3,075 for the 2026–27 financial year.

It is available for eligible privately registered, non-commercial cars, jeeps and vans. The pass remains valid for one year from activation or 200 eligible toll-plaza crossings, whichever occurs first.

One passage through Mahuvan Toll Plaza normally counts as one crossing. Travelling through the plaza and returning through it generally counts as two crossings.

Before relying on the pass, drivers should confirm that:

  • Mahuvan Fee Plaza appears in the eligible-plaza list
  • The vehicle is privately registered and non-commercial
  • Its category is car, jeep or van
  • The FASTag is active and linked to the full registration number
  • The FASTag is properly fitted to the same vehicle

The Annual Pass is activated on the existing FASTag and cannot be transferred to another vehicle.
