Kurali Toll Plaza Rates

The following toll charges are applicable from September 1, 2025, to August 31, 2026.

Vehicle category Single journey Return journey Monthly pass
Car, jeep or van ₹60 ₹95 ₹1,865
Light commercial vehicle or minibus ₹110 ₹165 ₹3,265

Heavy construction or earth-moving equipment ₹350 ₹525 ₹10,490
Vehicle with seven or more axles ₹350 ₹525 ₹10,490

A car, jeep or van pays ₹60 for a single crossing. An eligible return journey costs ₹95 when the outward and return crossings are completed within the permitted period.

The rates are due for revision after August 31, 2026. Drivers travelling on or after September 1, 2026, should check the revised FASTag deduction or contact the toll control room.

Single and Return-Journey Charges Explained

The ₹60 car rate applies to one crossing through Kurali Toll Plaza.

The ₹95 return rate covers an eligible outward and return journey through the same plaza. It does not mean that ₹95 is charged separately in each direction.

For example, a car travelling from Kurali towards Rupnagar and returning through the plaza within the permitted period may pay ₹95 in total instead of two separate ₹60 charges.

The same active FASTag should be used for both crossings. The toll system normally records the first journey and applies the remaining discounted amount during the return crossing.

A vehicle returning after the permitted period may be charged another ₹60 single-journey toll. Drivers should retain both FASTag transaction messages until the journey is complete.

Monthly Pass Information

The standard monthly pass for a car, jeep or van costs ₹1,865 under the tariff valid until August 31, 2026.

The monthly pass is normally linked to:

  • One registered vehicle
  • The vehicle’s FASTag
  • Its registration number
  • A fixed validity period
  • The permitted number of crossings

The published rate schedule does not show a separate local-commercial vehicle tariff. Residents or business owners seeking another concession should contact the toll office instead of assuming that a Rupnagar district registration number automatically qualifies the vehicle.

Applicants may be asked to provide:

  • Vehicle registration certificate
  • Aadhaar card or another identity document
  • Residential or business-address proof
  • Active FASTag details
  • Registered mobile number
  • Commercial permit, where applicable
  • Completed application form

Kurali and Bajheri Toll Plazas Are Different

Kurali (Behrampur) Toll Plaza and Bajheri Toll Plaza are separate toll facilities.

Kurali (Behrampur) Toll Plaza is on NH 205 and collects toll for the Kurali–Kiratpur section.

Bajheri Toll Plaza is associated with the newer IT City–Kurali section of NH 205A. It serves traffic travelling through the Mohali IT City, Airport Road and Kurali corridor.

Depending on the chosen route, a vehicle may cross:

  • Only Kurali (Behrampur) Toll Plaza
  • Only Bajheri Toll Plaza
  • Both toll plazas
  • Neither plaza when using a different local route

Separate FASTag deductions from Kurali and Bajheri are therefore not automatically duplicate transactions.

FASTag and Payment Information

FASTag is the standard toll-payment method at Kurali Toll Plaza. Before travelling, drivers should ensure that the tag:

  • Is active and has sufficient balance
  • Is correctly attached to the windscreen
  • Is linked to the correct registration number
  • Shows the correct vehicle category
  • Has completed the required verification
  • Is not damaged, suspended or blacklisted

Maintain enough distance from the vehicle ahead when entering the toll lane. Driving too close may prevent the scanner from identifying each FASTag separately.

Check the transaction message after crossing. The message may show Kurali, Behrampur, BSC-C&C Kurali or plaza code 157001.

An incorrect deduction can be reported through the FASTag-issuing bank or National Highway helpline 1033.

FASTag Annual Pass

Eligible privately registered, non-commercial cars, jeeps and vans may use the NHAI FASTag Annual Pass at approved National Highway and National Expressway fee plazas.

The Annual Pass costs ₹3,075 for the 2026–27 financial year. It is valid for one year or 200 eligible toll-plaza crossings, whichever is completed first.

One passage through Kurali Toll Plaza normally counts as one crossing. Travelling through the plaza and later returning generally counts as two crossings.

Before relying on the pass, drivers should confirm that Kurali (Behrampur) Fee Plaza appears in the eligible-plaza list on RajmargYatra.

The pass is linked to the existing FASTag and vehicle registration number. It cannot be transferred to another vehicle.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1: Why does my FASTag message show BSC-C&C Kurali instead of Behrampur?

A: BSC-C&C Kurali Toll Road Limited is the toll-project company. Kurali, Behrampur and BSC-C&C Kurali in the transaction description normally refer to the same plaza with code 157001.

Q2: Will I cross this plaza when travelling from Chandigarh to Rupnagar?

A: Normally, yes. Vehicles using NH 205 through Kurali and Behrampur towards Rupnagar generally cross the plaza. A different route selected by navigation may produce another toll arrangement.

Q3: Is Kurali Toll Plaza the same as Bajheri Toll Plaza?

A: No. Kurali–Behrampur is on NH 205, while Bajheri is on the IT City–Kurali section of NH 205A. They have separate plaza codes and toll rates.

Q4: Why might both Kurali and Bajheri tolls be deducted during one journey?

A: A route passing through the IT City–Kurali road and then continuing towards Rupnagar or Kiratpur may use both tolled sections. Check the transaction times and route before treating the deductions as duplicates.
