A car, jeep or van pays ₹190 for a single crossing. An eligible return journey costs ₹280 when the outward and return crossings are completed within the permitted period.
The standard monthly pass for a car, jeep or van costs ₹6,265. It is intended for frequent users and is different from the concessional monthly pass offered to eligible residents living close to the plaza.
Single and Return-Journey Charges Explained
The ₹190 car rate applies to one crossing through Bollapalli Toll Plaza.
The ₹280 return rate covers an eligible outward and return journey. It does not mean that ₹280 is charged separately in each direction.
For example, a car travelling from Chilakaluripet towards Ongole and returning through Bollapalli Toll Plaza within the permitted 24-hour period may pay ₹280 in total instead of two separate ₹190 charges.
The same active FASTag should be used for both crossings. The toll system normally records the first transaction and adjusts the discounted return amount during the second crossing.
A vehicle returning after the permitted validity period may be charged another single-journey rate. Drivers should retain both FASTag messages until the journey is completed.

Directions to Bollapalli Toll Plaza
1. From Chilakaluripet
Join NH 16 and travel south towards Martur, Ongole and Nellore.
Continue on the main Chennai-bound carriageway. The toll plaza is reached near Bollapalli before the main Martur and Ongole sections.
2. From Guntur
Travel towards Chilakaluripet using NH 16.
Continue south towards Martur and Ongole. Remain on the main highway and follow the toll-lane signs while approaching Bollapalli.
The complete journey from Guntur may include other toll charges depending on the starting point and road used.
3. From Martur
Join NH 16 through an authorised highway connection.
Travel north towards Chilakaluripet or south towards Ongole according to the destination. Bollapalli Toll Plaza is located close to the Martur area.

4. From Ongole

Travel south towards Guntur and Chilakaluripet using the appropriate NH 16 route.
Continue towards Martur and Ongole. The complete Vijayawada–Bollapalli journey includes more than one highway section and may involve additional toll plazas.
Bollapalli and Tanguturu Toll Plazas Are Different
Bollapalli Toll Plaza and Tanguturu Toll Plaza are separate toll collection points on NH 16.
Bollapalli is located near Martur, on the Chilakaluripet–Nellore project section. Tanguturu is situated farther south, closer to Ongole and Singarayakonda.
A vehicle travelling a longer distance towards Nellore or Chennai may cross both toll plazas, depending on the route and destination.
The ₹190 car rate at Bollapalli applies only to the Bollapalli toll section. It is not the total toll for the complete Guntur–Nellore or Vijayawada–Chennai journey.
