The Eastern Peripheral Expressway is a major access-controlled road passing around the eastern side of Delhi. It begins near Kundli in Sonipat district and runs through Baghpat, Ghaziabad and Greater Noida before ending near Palwal. It is commonly called the Kundli–Ghaziabad–Palwal Expressway, or KGP Expressway.
There is no single facility called the Eastern Peripheral Expressway Toll Plaza. The 135-kilometre route uses main toll plazas and several entry-and-exit toll points. It follows a closed-loop system, which means the charge is calculated according to the vehicle category and the distance travelled between the recorded entry and exit.

NHAI’s asset-monetisation records identify Jakhauli, Mavikala, Duhai, the Delhi–Meerut Expressway interchange, Dasna, Bilakbarpur, Fatehpur Rampur and Maujpur as tolling locations on the corridor. The current national fee-plaza list also includes Chhajju Nagar, Badagaon and Peelak facilities connected with NE 2.
Eastern Peripheral Expressway Toll Rates
EPE does not have one fixed fee for every crossing. The amount depends on where the vehicle enters and leaves. FASTag readers record both points and calculate the charge for the distance used.

The examples show why a single “EPE toll rate” cannot be quoted for every journey. A vehicle joining near Dasna and leaving at Duhai will pay less than one travelling from Kundli to the Palwal end. Commercial vehicles are charged at higher category-based rates.
Drivers should check their route through RajmargYatra before travelling and review the FASTag message after leaving the expressway. Missing entry data may cause the system to calculate a higher charge based on a longer assumed journey.
Main Toll Plaza and Interchange Locations
1. Jakhauli Main Plaza
Jakhauli is near the northern Kundli end in Sonipat district, Haryana. It serves traffic connecting with the Delhi–Panipat corridor and the Western Peripheral Expressway. The official NETC plaza code listed for the Jakhauli main plaza is 312019.
2. Mavikala Toll Point
Mavikala is in the Baghpat side of Uttar Pradesh. It provides access for traffic travelling towards Baghpat, Khekra and adjoining areas. It is one of the first Uttar Pradesh toll points when travelling south from Kundli.
3. Duhai Toll Point
Duhai connects EPE with the Ghaziabad–Meerut corridor. It is useful for vehicles travelling towards Muradnagar, Modinagar, Meerut and Ghaziabad.
4. Dasna Toll Point
The Dasna interchange connects EPE with NH 9 and the Delhi–Meerut Expressway network. Drivers should carefully distinguish between the Dasna EPE toll point and the separate Dasna DME closed-loop facility.
5. Bilakbarpur and Fatehpur Rampur
These toll points serve the Dadri and Greater Noida side of the expressway. They provide connections towards NH 34, Dadri, Sikandrabad and nearby industrial areas.
6. Maujpur and Chhajju Nagar
Maujpur and Chhajju Nagar serve the southern part of EPE near Faridabad and Palwal. Chhajju Nagar is one of the principal end-plaza locations in Haryana.

Directions to Eastern Peripheral Expressway
1. From Delhi or Ghaziabad
Travel towards NH 9 and Dasna. Follow the signs for Eastern Peripheral Expressway, Palwal or Kundli. At Dasna, select the correct ramp depending on whether the journey is north towards Baghpat and Kundli or south towards Greater Noida and Palwal.
2. From Noida or Greater Noida
Use the suitable road towards Dadri, Bilakbarpur or the authorised EPE interchange. Follow signs for Ghaziabad and Kundli when travelling north, or Faridabad and Palwal when travelling south.
3. From Meerut
Travel towards Duhai or use the Delhi–Meerut Expressway connection where permitted. Enter EPE at the authorised ramp and choose the Kundli or Palwal direction.
4. From Faridabad or Palwal
Approach the southern end through the authorised Palwal or Chhajju Nagar connection. Travel north for Greater Noida, Ghaziabad, Baghpat and Kundli.
5. From Sonipat or Panipat
Travel towards Kundli and use the Jakhauli connection. Join the southbound EPE carriageway for Baghpat, Ghaziabad, Greater Noida and Palwal.
FASTag and Travel Information
FASTag is essential for smooth closed-loop toll calculation. Drivers should keep the tag active, correctly attached and linked to the proper vehicle registration category. Toll payments on the corridor are processed digitally, and incorrect or missing entry records can lead to overcharging.
Eligible private cars, jeeps and vans can use the NHAI FASTag Annual Pass at designated National Highway and National Expressway plazas. For 2026–27, it costs ₹3,075 and remains valid for one year or 200 covered crossings, whichever occurs first. Eligibility should be checked through RajmargYatra using the vehicle number.
